Be Encouraged
If I could encourage you for a moment, I’d tell you to…
Be Encouraged.
That’s it. That’s the message.
Plain. Simple.
Why?
Sometimes, all it takes is a few encouraging words to help us keep going.
In a world that thrives on clips and messages promoting drama, divisiveness, and despair, it can be hard to find words that truly uplift. It can also be easy to forget how important it is to encourage ourselves—and one another. And if we’re not careful, overconsumption and constant outpouring (because sometimes, WE are the drama!) of negativity can really weigh us down—especially when we’re already walking through a heavy season.
While you may not be able to change your situation immediately, encouragement has a way of lifting your spirits, refocusing your thinking, and helping you take that next step forward.
So…
If you’re quietly navigating a difficult season—be encouraged.
If you’re carrying grief, illness, or uncertainty—be encouraged.
If hope feels distant right now—be encouraged.
If I know anything, it’s this: the storm doesn’t last forever.

And encouragement isn’t only for the valley—it’s needed in the wins, too. We tend to think that because someone is up, they don’t need or deserve encouragement. Doubt can still try to creep in, even when things are going well.
So…
If you’re stepping into new opportunities—be encouraged.
If you’re reaching a milestone or moving toward something meaningful—be encouraged.
If you’ve received a blessing and are trying to steward it well… be encouraged.
Challenging moments may appear during a win, but don’t give up!
Reminder…
BE is an action word. So, what does one do to BE encouraged? Here are a few things:
Pray
Stay connected to life-giving community
Be mindful of what we listen to, read, and speak
Make time for what brings us joy
This isn’t meant to minimize what you may be facing—but to remind you that encouragement matters.
Carry this with you as you move through the rest of today. May they help you take heart, feel supported, and keep pushing forward.
And I challenge you to find opportunities to encourage yourself and others.
Be Well,
~B 🤎
